Sandra Saakashvili Visit

On January 2, 2017, the Former First Lady of Georgia, 2004-2013, Sandra Saakashvili visited the Holodomor Victims’ Memorial.

"The Holodomor Victims Memorial is a painful reminder of the early thirties. It was undoubtedly a duty to bring justice to the true history of Ukraine instead of concealing it for ideological reasons.

Power and greed are at the heart of the behavior of the communist regime, but unfortunately, it continues in various forms, prevailing in many countries of the world even in 2017! Let us pray for all those who perished and suffered from the Holodomor, and let us be strong and conscious as a civil society, so that it does not repeat in the world.
