The President of the Republic of Finland visited the Holodomor Genocide Museum

On September 13, 2019, the National Holodomor-Genocide Museum was visited by the President of the Republic of Finland, Sauli Niinisto.

The leader of the Republic of Finland laid flowers with to the sculpture “Memory of Childhood and got acquainted with the exposition of the territory of the museum.

Sauli Niinosto is on an official visit to Ukraine, in which he, together with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, participated in the opening of the 16th annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy.

Recall that the Finnish Republic has not recognized the Holodomor as an act of genocide yet.
