Ukraine commemorates victims of Holodomor by providing humanitarian aid to Yemen, Sudan and Congo

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko called for the support of those in need of assistance in the world to commemorate the Holodomor victims in Ukraine (1932-1933), the press office of the President of Ukraine reported.

"Let’s support those who need our help today. For this is our redemption for those who could not be saved in the past", - said the Head of State during a speech at the International Forum "Ukraine Remembers - the World Recognizes" devoted to the 85th Anniversary of the Holodomor.

"And as a symbol of the commemoration of the victims of the Holodomor, I supported the initiative to provide humanitarian aid to the Republic of Yemen, the Republic of the Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The corresponding Decree of the President of Ukraine has already been signed, "said Petro Poroshenko.

"Let's unite for the protection of humanity", - called on the President.
