The Soviet Story

"The Soviet Story" – Latvian documentary about historical events in the Soviet Union before, during and after the Second World War, the terror of communism and manifestations of Nazism in contemporary Russia. Film is focused on the crimes of the Soviet regime and cooperation of with Nazi Germany, and trying to prove with the help of documentary footage similarity between that two modes. One of the episodes of the film tells about the famine, and compares the destruction of Ukrainian in 1932 –1933 years and the murder of Jews during the Holocaust.
